In celebration of the 50th Anniversary of the Apollo Moon Landing, the Tacoma STEAM Network will host a student challenge day on Saturday, April 27th. During the day, students will re-create the moon landing using drones to land a Lunar Module on the moon. From the landing site, students will pre-program a LegoMindstorm robot to navigate the moon surface and place a leave behind artifact just like Buzz Aldrin.

Come see our students demo their moon landing at the Tacoma-South Sound Mini Maker Faire!
