Canoe Paddle Carving
Tacoma Boatbuilders will bring their “Shaving Horse” workbenches and some cedar canoe paddle blanks. Attendees will have a hands-on opportunity to use old-school woodworking hand tools like spokeshaves and drawknives to shape and smooth the wood.
